SUKKAH/TABERNACLE

Tentative tent
Welcoming guests
Welcoming our new selves

Ripped to prevail
The winds bellowing
Torn to take in the Grandeur
Hovering above
Protecting us
Mere mortals who take in themselves
Not yet whole, but forgiven

Spine, heart, eyes and lips – held
Together
The straight, the prayerful, the artistic and the bland
Blend –
Accepting and accepted

Open, like the Sukkah
To ourselves, to each other,
Open
To the One above

PURPLE
NOTHING TO FEAR
